I really doubt anyone could stand having PK Subban crashing in their basement. |

The Penguins have lost-- perhaps the biggest shocker I've seen in hockey in the last five years.
The fact they lost is a shocker or the way they lost? |

I think it's both really. I still can't believe the way they played game 3 after losing the way they did in games 1 and 2.
that they lost is equally shocking, because I didn't believe anyone in the East could stop them. |

To me it's more the way they lost.
Pretty sure the Flyers won their 6 games series against the Pens this season.
I thought the Pens would have taken it, though. |

I agree EE that it's different to develop someone here and in Minny, but still. Why can't the Sergei Kostitsyn, Mikhail Grabovski (TO is the same ball game), Mike Ribeiro, Stéphane Robidas, Matt D'agostini, Ron Hainsey and so on develop as well here as they did in their respective teams?
If you can't watch after those young adults and make sure they are going forward as you suggested, at least make sure you draft guys with their heads screwed on straight, guys that won't hide away from the critics. We need guys with special mindsets.
It's not everybody who would have gone through all the pressure Price and Pacioretty went in the past 3 years.
They need to look at the psychological side of the guys, it's as important, if not more, than their ability on the ice. Especially in a hockey mad market like Mourial. |

I knew Giroux was really good, but not THAT good.
And Couturier has really impressed me. He has stopped Malkin for 6 games. Wow. |

They also need to have a development coach in Hamilton...I thought Cunneyworth was perfect there. I hope they send him back and he agrees.
The next GM needs to stop sending away picks and prospects for over the hill, roof fixin' monsieurs. |

He stopped Malkin while still managing to produce a good bit.
Why didn't we tank last year? |

I have to say, regarding the Habs next GM...The fact that Pierre Mcguire's name doesn't come up in rumours is making me nervous. |

Tank? He was drafted EIGHTH. An 11th place would have been enough
To me, he's almost already as good as Jordan Staal, one of the best 2 way centers in the league...but Couturier has more upside. He'll be a beast. |

Hard to understand how Couturier was still available at the 8th spot. |
